Easy, Creamy Avocado Salsa (Salsa de Aguacate)

Easy, creamy avocado salsa (salsa de aguacate) is silky smooth, with a bit of a kick from the jalapeño pepper. This homemade salsa recipe is so delicious, plus, it comes together in about 5 minutes!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados ~10 ounces, 285g
  • 1/4 cup lime juice Juice from about 2 large limes
  • 1 large jalapeño ~3 ounces, 71g
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Water, if necessary to help blend smooth

Instructions
 

  • Place lime juice in blender
    1/4 cup lime juice
  • Cut up jalapeño and avocado flesh into small chunks and add to blender with the clove of garlic.
    2 ripe avocados, 1 large jalapeño, 1 clove garlic
  • Add salt to taste and blend until smooth
    Salt to taste
  • If needed, add water a couple teaspoons at a time to help the salsa blend to a smooth consistency
    Water, if necessary to help blend smooth
