Mexican Sincronizada
Mexico's version of grilled ham and cheese! This delicious breakfast, lunch, snack, or light dinner is ready in just 5 minutes and uses only 3 ingredients!

- 2 flour tortillas ~7 inches in diameter
- 2 large slices of manchego cheese or 1/4 cup shredded Mexican cheese, like Oaxaca or your cheese of choice
- 2-3 slices ham I use turkey, but use your favorite!
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat
Once the skillet is hot, warm 1 tortilla in the skillet for about 15 seconds, then flip over
2 flour tortillas
Layer the cheese and ham on the tortilla in the skillet, then cover with the second tortilla.
2 large slices of manchego cheese, 2-3 slices ham, 2 flour tortillas
Allow the sincronizada to cook until the bottom tortilla has golden brown spots and the cheese starts to melt, ~45-60 seconds
Flip the sincronizada. Allow the other side to develop golden brown spots and the cheese to finish melting, about 60 seconds more
Remove from the skillet, cut into triangles, and serve!
